I'm a lifelong student and mentor who's passionate about Video Games and CS Education. I've been lucky enough to work on some really neat stuff!

🌎 Impacting the World through Code

1. MSBuild - I optimized, maintained, and added functionality to the build engine that powers .NET, which millions of developers use worldwide every day.
2. Visual Studio Code for Education - I helped launch our free CS Education platform, which uses VSCode right in your browser. No install needed!
   
3. MakeCode - I helped students nationwide safely and securely connect to our block-based programming toolkit right from their classroom.

I always have something cooking on the side. 

1. Gravitorium - The platformer where you can't jump! Releases on Steam Q3 2024.
2. Game Dev Journal - YouTube experiments while working on Gravitorium.

🧑🏻‍🏫 Always a Mentor

Before I was a Software Engineer, I was just another student struggling to learn CS. During that time, I was lucky enough to get a job teaching hundreds of people how to code while getting my degree (and paid!) at the same time.

Because of that, I have a great deal of empathy for anyone trying to learn Computer Science today. I love mentoring those who are on the path I've been on and making it easier for the next person. Reach out if you have any questions about programming or software engineering!
